El post más popular de todos los que he escrito en este blog es el del ciclo de vida del girasol, así que he pensado que os gustaría conocer este libro, que a nosotros nos encanta.
Se trata de "What's this?" de Caroline Mockford, cuando lo vi me llamó la atención por las preciosas y llamativas ilustraciones, que tienen aspecto de haber sido pintadas al óleo y tienen unos colores vivos y vibrantes. Y al ver que el texto relata la historia de una niña que encuentra una semilla de girasol y la cuida hasta verla crecer y florecer, no dudé en añadirlo a nuestra pequeña biblioteca familiar.
No lo he encontrado traducido al castellano, pero el texto es bastante sencillo, no es necesario tener un gran nivel de inglés para poder leerlo.

The most popular post on this blog is the one I wrote about life cycle of the sunflower, so I thought you might like to know about this book, which we love; "What's this?" by Caroline Mockford.
When I saw it I was struck by the beautiful and striking illustrations, which have the appearance of having been painted in oil and have rich, vibrant colors. And seeing that the text tells the story of a girl who finds a sunflower seed and takes care of it to see it grow and bloom I did not hesitate to add it to our little family library.
